BLSP Organizational Structure

Various Gram Samitis such as Gram Shiksha Samiti , Gram Sanaskar Samiti, Gram Swablamban Samiti, Gram Swabhiman Samiti and Gram Arogya Samiti of prominent local persons to look after the different activities in the villages are constituted. With the formation of these Committees (Samitis), almost all the families of the village are involved in one or the other activities. This not only, helps in creating the liking for Ekal set up in the village but also helps in developing a community feeling and harmony in the village.

Similar system is evolved and adopted in cities and towns where various activities as well as socio cultural program are initiated for fund raising purposes. A well defined system is in place to monitor and administer these Ekal Vidyalayas. These are divided in Kshetras, Anchals, Sankuls, Sanch and Up-sanch. An Up-sanch consists of 10 EkalVidyalayas. A sanch consists of three upsanch or 30 Ekal Vidyalayas. Four Sanch(120Ekal Vidyalayas) constitute one Sankul and Fourhreesankuls or 480 EkalVidyalayas constitute one Anchal.

The day-to-day affairs are being looked after by full timers of the organization, designated at each and every level for the purpose. The Nagar Samitis at all these levels monitors and looks after the implementation of policy matters and other administrative issues of these groups and sub groups.
